Kuna Siri-Controversy Surrounds Presidential Advisor David Ndii's Role Amid Contrarian Statements

Nairobi, July 10, 2024 — In a surprising twist, prominent lawyer Donald Kipkorir has voiced his bewilderment over the continued tenure of David Ndii as a Presidential Advisor, despite Ndii’s increasingly contrarian stance against official State House communications.

Kipkorir’s comments came in a series of posts where he highlighted Ndii's recent activity on X (formerly Twitter). According to Kipkorir, Ndii has been posting content that starkly contrasts with the official statements from State House. Additionally, Ndii has been resharing his old articles, some of which contain criticism of President William Ruto and opposition leader Raila Odinga.

The outspoken lawyer expressed his confusion over State House's reluctance to dismiss Ndii, suggesting that Ndii might be holding some form of leverage. "David Ndii has begged State House to fire him but don’t know why they can’t answer his prayers. His X posts of late are contrarian to official Statements from State House. He is even reposting his old articles that aren’t flattering of President William Ruto & Raila Odinga," Kipkorir wrote.

Kipkorir went further to question whether State House fears dismissing Ndii due to some unknown factors. "Is it that State House fears to fire him? Is he holding a secret purse for State House?" he pondered. He emphasized the anomaly of the situation by comparing it to international standards. "No other Presidential Advisor anywhere in the world goes rogue for an hour & remain in office. Ndii is reveling peeing inside State House carpets!"

The situation has sparked debate among political analysts and the public, with some speculating that Ndii's influence and insider knowledge might be the reason for his continued presence in the advisory role. Others believe it could be a strategic move by State House to retain a critical voice within its inner circle.

As the controversy unfolds, all eyes remain on State House's next move and whether it will address the growing dissonance between its official stance and Ndii's outspoken critiques.
