A Legendary Necessary Noise Rapper Nazizi's Three-Year Old Son Died While in Vacation in Tanzania


In a heartbreaking turn of events, legendary rapper Nazizi Harji and her husband Tanaka are mourning the sudden demise of their three-year-old son, Jazeel. The young boy met a tragic end on December 25th in Tanzania, following an accident at the family's lodging. 

Jazeel's untimely passing prompted the grieving family to transport him to Nairobi, where he was laid to rest on December 26th in accordance with his religious beliefs. The family issued a statement, confirming the heartbreaking news and shedding light on the circumstances surrounding the accident.

“It is with profound sorrow and deepest heartache that we confirm the tragic passing of Jazeel, the beloved son of Nazizi Hirji on Christmas Day, December 25th, 2023, in Tanzania. We lost this young soul in an unfortunate accident at a hotel where the family was staying. He was buried earlier today in Nairobi, in accordance with his religion,” the statement read.

Nazizi, known for her impactful presence in the music industry, has requested privacy during this trying time. The statement appealed to the media and the public to respect the sanctity of the family's grieving process.

“In these dark times, the light of a child's life—in all its innocence and joy—is undeniably the purest. The void left by the loss is both immeasurable, and the pain is unbearable. In her son's honour, Nazizi urges the media, fans, and the public to uphold the sanctity of family and the preciousness of life by fostering a period of privacy and respect as they navigate through this indescribable sorrow,” the statement continued.

While details surrounding the circumstances leading to Jazeel's passing remain undisclosed, Nazizi assured fans that a comprehensive statement would be provided in due course.

“We appeal for your compassion and understanding out of respect for their need for peace in this time of mourning. We kindly request everyone to allow Nazizi and her family the space they need to begin the healing process. A more detailed statement will be made available once the family has had some time to mourn their tremendous loss," the statement concluded.
